So I was going to call this post “Hobo Style” because that’s what I’ve been calling the style I’ve been rocking lately. But then I realised hobo is an anagram for boho and really, is there much difference in the 2 styles?
Here’s what I’ve been doing: Piling on layers and layers of mismatched colours and patterns. The more the better.
Most of the time it involves this skirt. Which I love. I’d wear it every day if I could. In fact I was in Sportsgirl recently and saw it had been marked down considerably. I picked it up and carried it around for a while before deciding I didn’t really need another one. Did I mention I was actually wearing this skirt at the time? Yeah.
Turns out I wasn’t entirely sure of my decision, so I went back last week. In the end I went with a black version instead of the checkers. When I got to the register the girl commented she had the same one, only in the check. “Oh, like the one I’m wearing right now?” I said. Because, yeah, I was totally wearing it again. So maybe it is more hobo on account of it seems like the only piece of clothing I own right now.
This oughta be fun

It looks so cold wherever you are!
I love this look. Layers full of clothing with texture always intrigue me and get my creative juices flowing-there is so much inspiration here! Loving the colors too π
[…] Remember how I said lately I’ve been piling on the layers and patterns? Yeah, still doing that. Throwing some different textures in the mix too. […]
