The Difference A Little Light Makes

June 20th, 2011 by Selise

It really is amazing, the difference a little light makes (as The Man remarked on Saturday, looking at these pictures). I didn’t want to come back inside!

We got up at 5:50 am to watch the replay of the Dogs game on Saturday morning. I always like being up early on the weekend. I feel like I get to squeeze the most out of the time off that way.

Once the game was over (victory!) we headed to Chermside to run some errands and I’m not in the least ashamed to say that I channelled a little “Blossom” when I reached for the floral tights.

They even got me a compliment at the store! Which is always welcome.

Then that night we went out for dinner with family. Sherpa chicken. Oh my word.

We certainly weren’t up as early on Sunday. And one of us was definitely feeling less than chipper.

Not me though. I was out and about enjoying the sunshine and gathering materials for some craft projects I’ve been working on.

Stay tuned, I’ll post pictures soon!
