Time. Old and New.

November 11th, 2010 by Selise

Ahh another super busy day in the neighbourhood. I may just go bald from the amount of times I ran my fingers through my hair in…not frustration but more, “how on earth will I get this done in the time that I have?!”. You know, that.

But, my friends, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Light in the form of a new job. I have accepted a really exciting position which means I will have more time to dedicate to the things I love.  Like my styling work and keeping up with all of your wonderful blogs and comments. I must say I have been really sad at how little opportunity I have had to dedicate to this. So fear not! I will be poring over your photos and commenting up a storm before too long!

I would like to share with you (argh! Centre damn you! You’re messing up my presentation.) the song that The Man played in honour of the occasion this evening. Truly he is the greatest husband in the known and unknown universes.

As an aside, today is Remembrance Day. I love the poppies they have for sale and I always do my best to set aside a moment to think of those we’ve lost. Not to take anything away from them but today will definitely be a day I remember now too.

Congratulations on the new job! I bet you will be their most stupdendous employee ever (unless you've coincidently ended up working for the same IGA or McDonalds' restaurant outlets who've formerly employed me). By the by, I will be at Belgium Beer Cafe next Saturday afternoon and if you are free you and The Man should definitely join me, as it's been ages!
