I know that every man and his leopard loves Mad Men. And while this outfit isn’t an homage or anything, it does remind me of something from the show.
I like that Mad Men has resurrected what I like to call “deliberate” dressing. Thoughtful dressing. Pride in tailoring, quality and cut. Delicate and well placed details like this badge and vintage ring.

I’m not kidding myself that we’ll all be giving Joan a run for her money. I’ll admit that, come the weekend, nothing beats loose shirts and denim shorts. But it’s nice to have the option of dressing like a lady.
